During the time spent at bespoke tailors Chris Kerr, Berwick Street London
Being a relatively small therefore personal business it gave me a chance to engage in integral parts of the business; this included customer liaisons and working with prestigious clientele.
A wide variety of interesting tasks I was given challenged me to expand my skills set and encouraged my inquisitive nature. I was able to better my skills in drafting and cutting patterns and cloth as well as adapting them for significantly interesting body shapes, putting together bastes and ripping them down and developing pressing techniques. The experience at Chris Kerr has helped me develop my tailoring skills in my university studies and has inspired me to produce a final collection utilising these techniques and processes.
